American actress Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. She started her career in minor roles in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002) and She's the Man (2006). Then, she portrayed the character of reporter Willa McPherson on the FX series Dirt. She also had an integral role in the short-lived FX series The Ex List. She was Kaylee, a young Moira on the first season on FX's American Horror Story. She portrayed Jessie Anderson in the AMC series The Walking Dead and Sophie in the NBC series This Is Us. She also voices a variety of characters from the animated comedy series of Family Guy. Since the year 2019, she has appeared as Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge grew up in Darien, Connecticut until she was 10, when her mother and sister moved to California [1] where they lived for a year before finally setting up in Mill Valley. Breckenridge was 13 when she first began to pursue an interest in acting, photography and singing. Breckenridge moved back to Los Angeles with the help from her mother around the age of 15.
